I found out about taïm when I saw a delivery back with that name on it and looked it up and found out it was fast casual Mediterranean which I love! I wanted to mix it up and not order my traditional Naya or CAVA bowl and taïm definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the harissa and green falafel bowl with my choice of veggies and rice and it was so fresh and delicious. It wasn't super heavy and it was the perfect amount of food. The falafels were crispy and crunchy and paired well with the rest of the toppings. I do wish there was more options to customize my bowl with but I do like taïm as an option for the future!

Got the chicken shawarma bowl, with seasoned chickpeas, pita bread, olives, Israeli salad, peppers and harissa sauce. Complete bang for your buck. The service was swift and the cafe itself was pretty big for an NY chain. If you sign up for their rewards, you get $5 off of your first order too!

Midtown West is an odd location that gets foot traffic in equal parts from tourists and midtown office crowds--both groups are usually in a rush to go somewhere. Taim is a welcome addition in this setting. It is quick, easy and, quite importantly for an area that is starved of good choices, tasty and mostly healthy. The build-your-meal approach generally works well, although you might simply get a side of falafel and hummus for a great snack. If I find myself in the area, Taim is my go-to option, and I generally get the bowl with a base of hummus, plus falafel and a range of toppings including seasoned chickpeas, hot peppers and tomatoes, a premium topping of hand-cut fries and finally the harissa sauce. However, having the menu placed to the side of the space makes it awkward to place your order, since you are not facing the attendant. And the air-conditioning wasn't on the couple of times I visited in summer. It was 90-100 degrees inside--not comfortable for both staff and customers. Lastly, there is no indoor seating, and the public seating on Broadway is often crowded and untidy. All that said, Taim is still a great option in the area for picking up a healthy and tasty meal.

Now THIS is what good falafel tastes like. Got a falafel bowl and everything was super fresh and delicious. Most importantly, the falafel was hot, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, which is how falafel should be. This place definitely lives up to the name.

Great new addition to midtown! Fresh, packed with flavor, healthy food. Nice portion but slightly pricey. Regardless, I will definitely be going back. Nice, fast and efficient staff. A lot of options and also vegan/ vegetarian friendly. Very small dining area, so prepared to take out like I did.

Even though there is extremely limited window/bar seating, I still gave this place a 5 star. Service, location, prices, menu selection, and taste of food all GREAT.

Was looking for a quick bite after an off broadway show. After a quick yelp search, was delighted to see a Taim a few blocks away. I frequent their Brooklyn location. My bestie has never been, so I was delighted to introduce her to something new. It was bright and clean when you walk in. Maria greeted us immediately. There are 4 stools 2 on either side of the door with a ledge for you to sit and eat if you choose to dine in. Usually I get the chicken shawarma or falafel. For my bonus entree I decided to try the new harissa steak. I had a coupon from their app to buy one get one for entrees. I wanted the meat and sauces packed on the side. So I could assemble and eat my free entree for lunch the next day. Maria was extremely accommodating. Ray the cook did a great job assembling, and everything tasted fresh. My friend got the chicken shawarma half cous cous, half hummus with pickled cabbage, tomato, cucumber, pickles, pickled onions, tzatziki, garlic, harissa and tahini. She was finished eating before me. lol. She enjoyed everything. My usual chicken bowl was delish. It was my first time trying the ginger lemonade and it was great. Not too sweet and the ginger came through. I liked that the steak was sliced thin. I wish the chicken was actually sliced thin like that and traditional shawarma. I didn't love the steak flavor. No big deal I still ate it. The harissa came through I didn't get honey but if felt like something was missing. A grilled taste perhaps. It was very tender and that's a feat considering I reheated the next day. Great service and food. I'll be back if I'm the area and in the mood for shawarma.
